The CommerceNext 2022 Annual Summit was a fantastic event for #marketers to learn best practices from the best across every marketing and advertising modality. Podcast advertising is a passion of mine so I was honored to be asked to moderate this session.

I love a good host-read podcast ad, which sounds weird because who loves ads? But after writing many of them throughout my career in audio ad sales and consulting, I’ve come to appreciate the magic.

Brands are increasingly coming on board with podcasting, and more specifically, what the industry calls branded podcasting. Branded podcasts are not strictly promotional. They tell great stories.
