Liz has spent her career in audio as an advertising executive, a podcast creator and host, and more recently as an industry moderator and guest.

She began in ad sales for local radio stations in Dallas, Texas, then spent 10 years at ABC Radio Networks where she sold national network radio advertising across the ABC, Disney, and ESPN portfolio.    

Liz has a well rounded background including digital with AOL and mobile with Hipcricket where she developed mobile marketing campaigns for brands through QR, SMS, and mobile ad networks.  

Liz combined her talent for driving revenue with her love for podcasts at Wondery and WNYC Studios focused on business development, ad sales and marketing. 

While at WNYC Studios, Liz took a particular interest in branded podcasts and developed a partnership with Target’s Corporate Responsibility division for a six-part branded podcast series, Future at Heart.  

In 2016, Liz created and hosted The MADWomen Podcast for mBolden, a global non-profit for female leadership in advertising, now known as SheRunsIt.  The MADWomen Podcast featured interviews with over 30 female executives showcasing their stories, their role models, inspiration, and lessons learned.   

Most recently, Liz founded Sonic Strategy Consulting to help companies serving the podcast industry get to the next level through creative solutions that transforms their business.
